Who you’ll talk to

One licensed agent, by name.

I’m [AGENT NAME]. When you call, you talk with me, not a call center and not a trainee. My job is to explain your options in plain English, put them in writing, and tell you the tradeoffs before the benefits.

I’m an independent agent, so I can compare more than one insurer. I’m also paid by commission, which is a real conflict of interest. That is why I show you how I’m paid and why a written fact-find comes before any recommendation.

What we help with

Start with what you want to get done.

Turn savings into income

You have money set aside and want a steady paycheck in retirement. We start with your budget and Social Security, then look at whether an annuity fits at all. Sometimes it does not, and we will say so.

Retirement income: Turn savings into income

Protect my family

You want the people who depend on you to be all right if you die. We work out how much coverage you actually need, then compare term and permanent life insurance, including what each one costs you.

Life insurance: Protect my family

Get my affairs in order

We review beneficiary designations and show how life insurance can fund a trust your attorney sets up. We are not a law firm, and we do not draft wills or trusts. We work alongside your attorney.

How it works

Three steps, and the last one is yours.

  1. Step 01: A conversation

Twenty minutes by phone or video. You tell us what is on your mind. We answer questions and explain how we work. Nothing is decided on this call.

  2. Step 02: A written fact-find and options

If it makes sense to keep going, we gather the facts in writing first: income, budget, health, goals, what you already own. Then you get a written summary and side-by-side options, with the tradeoffs spelled out.

  3. Step 03: You decide

You take the summary home and decide on your own time. Ask your family, your attorney or your accountant. Choosing to do nothing is a fine answer.

Our pledge

What we promise, in writing.

  • We never sell or share your information for anyone else's marketing.
  • We call or text only with your permission. Reply STOP and it stops.
  • We’ll tell you when a product isn’t right for you, even if that means no sale.
  • We don’t recruit. You are a client here, never a prospect for a sales team.
How we’re paid

Commissions from insurers. No fee from you.

When you buy a policy or annuity through us, the insurer pays us a commission. You do not pay us a fee, for the first conversation or anything after it.

Commissions differ by product and insurer, and that can pull an agent toward one choice over another. So before you apply, we tell you how we’re compensated for the product we recommend, and we’ll give you the commission amount in writing if you ask.

About our reviews

Appointed insurers

The insurers we can offer

Being appointed means an insurer has authorized us to offer its products. Here is each one, with its AM Best rating stated in full.

Ratings measure an insurer’s financial strength and ability to pay claims. They are not a measure of how any product will perform. AM Best’s Financial Strength Rating scale has 13 ratings from A++ (Superior) to D (Poor). Ratings are checked on the date shown and can change.
