Our commitment
Apollos Planning aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across apollosplanning.com. We treat accessibility problems as defects and fix them. [REVIEW BY COUNSEL] (confirm wording so the statement describes a goal and process, not a guarantee)
What we have done
- Body text is at least 18 pixels, and text colors meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against their backgrounds.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, shows a visible focus outline, and has a “Skip to main content” link.
- Pages use real headings, lists, links and buttons, so screen readers can move through them.
- Every form field has a visible label, and errors are described in text, not by color alone.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 by 44 pixels so they are easier to tap.
- Animations are minimal and turn off when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Information such as insurer ratings and licenses is presented as text tables, not as images.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- The site works when zoomed to 200% and on narrow phone screens without sideways scrolling.
- Articles and core information do not require JavaScript. Calculators show an explanation and our phone number if scripts do not run.
- We test pages with automated accessibility checks and by hand with a keyboard.
Known limits
- Third-party content. If we embed a scheduling tool, we do not control its accessibility. You can always book by phone or email instead.
- Insurer documents. Applications, contracts and disclosure documents come from insurance companies and may not be fully accessible. We will help you get them in another format or walk through them with you.
- Downloadable checklists. We aim to make our PDFs accessible; if one is not, we will send the same content as plain text.
